What you spend will be contingent upon your goals, the effort you decide to expend, and your financial fitness. If I may offer one suggestion: wait to have your surgery until you are in a place where you are not only physically fit, but financially fit as well. Have enough money to spend in case of unforeseen events, because there will be MANY.
